I think it's new owner of this place. They gave me a small amount of food, the chicken and rice was dry.. only good thing about this place is the sweet tea.. everything else sucks.. o and there customer services is good too.

Ordered a steak hibachi for 10+ dollars and ended up with this bs... i could have got a kids bowl instead... no vegetables... just carrots.. and i dont even eat carrots.. where my zucchini😣😞 waste of 10 dollars😔 when i try to call back no answer... thank you no thank you

Very good! We almost didn't go in though because the outside of the restaurant isn't very appealing. However, the inside was very nice and the food was great!

Great Japanese. Very authentic menu selection - even down to green tea mochi ice cream! Without the in-your-face hibachi chef, this is more enjoyable for a personal engagement. Great for family, friends, and close companions.Good service, great food, and great personal space without flash.

Just a few days ago I tried sushi from another highly rated place and it really made me appreciate the food here at Sakura, because their sushi was terrible and Sakura’s has always been top notch. They have literally the best sushi I’ve ever had. Also, the staff is friendly (I love the server Samantha - she’s extremely sweet). If you’re in the area, try it. All other sushi you’ll ever have from anywhere else will be noticeably worse by comparison, but you deserve to at least taste the best sushi in the country.

Their Dragon Roll is simply amazing!! I usually just order one Dragon Roll and I am full. Be careful because it comes out piping hot!

Went here for lunch. I have been to Sakura many times. I am a local so I have waited to review. The food is good. I like the combos. The restaurant gives plenty of food. The meats are especially well cooked. The sweet carrots are very good in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of the rice. It's a quick stop for lunch. You can call in and pick up at the drive thru. I love the Shrimp Tempura rolls too. Overall, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the rice needs help. Better rice options are available. The best sushi I've had in the town of Florence. The terriaki chicken bowl was amazing. Best sweet carrots I've ever had. The environment of the restaurant is very chill and relaxing. Very nice people with great customer service, very willing to assist and help you make the right food choices. The menu as one of the biggest varieties of sushi and Japanese foods that I've seen in the area. Will definitely be back and try many more items off the menu.

Love this place, the sushi is fresh, hibachi dinners are excellent. A place to grab eat in or grab your food to go at the drive thru. 11/19..I ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp , spicy crab roll and crunch roll. I was a little disappointed the chicken was kind of hard, carrots way too sweet, broccoli was burnt as if it stayed on the grill too long. The spicy crab roll is not an item I will order again and the crunch roll was the hero.

The prices went from very reasonable to insane. The Unagi Don used to be 14 dollars and now it is 32.00! Talk about an increase!

Lots of cream-cheese/deep-fried style rolls. Best sushi place within an hour for sure. Haven't tried the non-sushi items.

Normally this place is great. I've been coming here for over a year. Tonight is the first bad experience we had and it was just too much. I understand there was a bigger party before we got there. But the entire visit took almost 2 whole hours. The first hour was waiting for the food after we ordered. Which took over 30 minutes just to be able to order.. we ordered a to go order with our food and they didnt bring it out until way after we paid. Took too much time an was very inconvenient to our night. Hopefully they get staffed soon. It's clear they are very under staffed.

Good food food price

I use to love this place but however went there today and had to wait of course in drive through which is understandable due to virus and they completely messed up the whole order!!!The service is poorly and when I called back to inform them the whole order was wrong the only thing they said was to bring it back really drove over 30 miles waited 25mins to be told just bring it back.People don't waist your time with this place!!

Great servers, good food, and beer.

Called in an order and was told the wait was going to be 45 minutes, showed up 55 minutes after the order was placed and was told I could not go inside to pick up my order but had to wait through the drive through line which ended up taking another 30 minutes, I had picked up food from another restaurant prior to picking up this food and that food was cold by the time we got home. The steak bowl I ordered also had about half the amount rice and a quarter of the amount steak in it compared to other times I have came here. Was definitely not worth $8 for 3 bites of food. I understand people are struggling right now but there’s other accommodations that I feel Sakura could have made such as curbside pickup in addition to the extra long drive through line.

I absolutely love the food here but in all seriousness they REALLY need to work on their customer service. I just ordered lunch for my coworkers and I and whoever answered the phone was extremely rude! She wouldn't give me a direct answer to a question i asked so I asked if she heard me(thinking maybe she was talking to someone else) and she just repeated the same thing and said it louder and used a short tone. Then she kept cutting me off and rushed me to finish my order. I am NOT happy with Sakura's after today's visit. Let Sam work the window again, atleast she knows how to talk to customers and she acts like she actually likes her job!

Food was good and the price was just right. Our server was Amber and she was awesome.

Hands down one of my favorite spots to eat at they're carrots are the sweetest around cant nobody best this restaurant I definitely recommend the chicken teriyaki its immaculate!!!

My previous review was a four, but after they doubled (actually more than double) the price of my meal, I will not be back. The meal was Unagi Don, if you don't believe me. Very disappointed. I would understand a mild price increase. Way to kill goodwill. Also, for the last visit they were out of several items but we weren't told until the rest of the food had practically arrived.
